To ‘where do we meet’—saying that where you meet will be an indicator of the kind of church you wish to have, as well as questions on identity—‘who’s the minister?’ denominational identity and ‘to which generation?’ There are cute, descriptive illustrations throughout.

Simson shares a vision of bringing the church to the people, not the people to the church, seeking to restore a sense of community. Discusses everything from bridging the gap between the church of the Bible and the church of today, the nature of a house church and how it functions, the act of transitioning to models of church multiplication. This book focuses more on multiplication of existing churches than of planting churches.

The authors, experienced church-planters, and now church-planting coaches, focus first on what Jesus teaches on repentance, baptism, love, prayer, giving and more. Saying that the most important tool for multiplying churches is complete obedience to our Lord Jesus. Part two discusses church reproduction from the various viewpoints of the people working toward that end. (i.e. evangelist, house church, mother church) He provides an appendices of Bible readings you can do with your family or small group.
